Wooo hooooo!!
Went out Saturday, took a mate who has only been on a boat twice before.
A friend who knows our Adelaide waters well had asked me if I wanted to tag along to a likely Snapper spot 40k's out. This was my longest trip yet.
So we tagged along - 4.00am start to catch the top of the tide.
As daylight came the sea turned on quite bad - big rolling stuff with no whitecaps.
I really was getting edgy.
My friends in their boat said it would be wise to go inshore to another spot.
Well after 15 mins of trying to bash our way directly inshore we gave up and decided to head directly for home - this stuff was getting worse!
Followed our friends closely and tried to stay in his wake as it was a little smoother.
Took a long time to back but I must admit I enjoyed the experience,my mate did as well - he was great and did not panic.
The boat (189) handled very well and my mates said how well she did.
Great experience for me :-)
No fish caught :-(
Some pics and a video......

Hi Tyke
Thanks for posting the pics and video, boat looks great on the water. Good to see you went out with another boat, for me heading outside with another boat, is the best insurance along with dual batteries and plenty of fresh fuel!
Cheers WhyKnot
